ABORIGINAL ROCK ART

Numerous Aboriginal rock art sites have been discovered in the station’s rugged red cliffs and ridge lines, the work of the Miriwoong and Gajirrabeng people who lived on and managed the land. We are still learning about the cultural significance of these vivid depictions.

The galleries are only accessible by guided tour in an all-terrain vehicle or helicopter.
